All cases are carried out by Dr. Raja and his skilled team. We offer two types of hair restoration techniques – Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT). During a follicle unit extraction, we remove hair follicles individually from the back of the head under local anaesthetic. We then use precision techniques to implant the harvested follicles into areas of hair loss.
FUT – Also known as the strip method involves removing a strip of skin from the back of the head, placing tiny hair grafts from this strip into small incisions made into the scalp. The area where the strip is taken from is closed together with stitches allowing for the wound to heal.
